John Goodman, the polo mogul convicted of DUI manslaughter in 2012, has returned home after being hospitalized for about five hours Monday because of complications from hip surgery, his lawyer and Palm Beach County Sheriff’s officials said Monday night.
An ambulance arrived at Goodman’s house in the 3600 block of 120th Avenue South — where he is under house arrest while he appeals his conviction — shortly after 5 p.m., Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said. He was taken to Wellington Regional Medical Center. Goodman returned to his home at 9:45 p.m., said Sheriff’s spokesman Eric Davis.
Goodman attorney Guy Fronstin said late Monday that Goodman recently had one of his hips replaced and that the hip had become dislodged from its socket. Fronstin said Goodman’s hip was reinserted Monday night.
