Now that a judge has overturned a DUI manslaughter conviction for John Goodman, the Wellington polo club founder could be off house arrest and shed his round-the-clock sheriff’s detail within days.
Circuit Judge Jeffrey Colbath on Friday vacated Goodman’s 2012 conviction and 16-year prison sentence in the death of Scott Patrick Wilson, 23, the University of Central Florida grad who drowned after Goodman’s Bentley crashed into Wilson’s Hyundai and flipped it into a Wellington canal.
