Joseph Travis had been feuding with another man for the past couple years over a girlfriend, a police report said. In February, Travis, 19, took action, which landed him in jail Wednesday.
According to Boynton Beach Police, the feud — which resulted from Travis suspecting the other man of having sex with his girlfriend — came to a head Feb. 8. Officers responded to a stabbing in the 1600 block of Seacrest Boulevard. When they arrived, they found a then-21-year-old man with a puncture wound near his left hip, one above his left buttock and a cut on the left side of his stomach. His bicycle, backpack and shirt were back in the 1300 block of Seacrest.
