Federal judge denies request for injunction against WPB law creating ‘quiet zone’ around abortion clinic

A federal judge has refused to throw out a West Palm Beach law that anti-abortion activists claim hurts their ability to reach women entering the Presidential Women’s Center.

In a 15-page decision released today, U.S. District Judge Donald Middlebrooks upheld the 5-year-old ordinance as constitutional, setting the stage for a full-blown trial on the measure in February.
