What was supposed to be a bond hearing Friday for a Palm Beach County teacher accused of giving students candy in exchange for sexual acts was postponed after his lawyer said prosecutors gave him new information in the case.
Stephen Budd, 51, the man accused of sexual battery during the 2006-07 school year when he was a teacher at Rosarian Academy in West Palm Beach, has been held without bond in the Palm Beach County Jail since his arrest April 4.
