Burglar breaks into cabana, steals laptop computer and cigars



BOCA RATON POLICE

THEFT

Several perfumes were reported missing from a display at a business in the 6000 block of West Glades Road.

Jewelry was stolen from a bedroom dresser at a residence in the 200 block of South Federal Highway.

BUSINESS BURGLARY

An unknown man wearing a Miami Heat ball cap and a scarf covering his face broke into a business in the 1900 block of Northwest Corporate Boulevard.

HOME BURGLARY

Break-ins were reported in the 1200 block of Marble Way, the 700 block of Southeast 31st Street and the 1300 block of Southwest Fourth Street.

A woman in the 7000 block of Northwest Fifth Avenue told police that two men posing as roof workers burglarized her home.

VEHICLE BURGLARY

Someone entered an unlocked vehicle in the 1400 block of West Camino Real and stole a 9 mm handgun.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

An argument between a man and a woman at a store in the 1900 block of North Dixie Highway ended with a broken wine bottle. The store did not wish to prosecute.

DRUGS

Following a traffic stop in the 100 block of Northwest 20th Street, a juvenile was arrested after he was found in possession of pot and drug paraphernalia.

DUI

A 46-year-old woman was arrested after a traffic stop in the 1400 block of West Glades Road. She refused to provide a breath sample and was taken to the county jail.

LOST PROPERTY

An Apple MacBook Air was reported lost in the first block of East Camino Real.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

A 25-year-old man was arrested in the 300 block of Northeast Spanish River Boulevard after he exposed his sexual organs. He was also charged with trespassing and taken to the county jail.

BURGLARY

Someone forced open a door on a cabana at a club in the 900 block of South Ocean Boulevard and stole a laptop computer and five cigars.

BOYNTON BEACH POLICE

ARMED ROBBERY

A man told police he was robbed at gun- and knife-point by three men and a woman in the 2800 block of Southeast First Place. They took his backpack and fled. He told police he is familiar with the suspects and can identify them.

STRONG-ARMED ROBBERY

A man walking in a park in the 300 block of Northeast 13th Street was approached by a stranger who asked to use his phone. The man declined, and the stranger grabbed his phone and fled.

VEHICLE BURGLARY

Someone ransacked a car in the 3200 block of Ridge Hill Road. Nothing appeared to be missing. A neighbor reported a similar incident with her vehicle.

A woman found all the doors open on her vehicle that was parked in the 200 block of Tybee Circle. Nothing was missing.

A woman in the first block of Southern Cross Circle saw a man enter her unlocked vehicle and remove several items. He fled, and police were unable to locate him.

Someone rummaged through an unlocked vehicle parked in the 2600 block of Northeast First Court, dumping the contents of the glove compartment and center console on the seats and floor. Nothing appeared to be missing.

SHOTS FIRED

Police went to the 100 block of Northwest 10th Avenue to investigate a report of shots fired, but they found no witnesses, suspects, victims or evidence.

ARSON

Police were called to a playground in the 1900 block of North Seacrest Boulevard at midnight, where a fire had been set in a garbage can. Officers extinguished the fire, which caused minimal damage.

HOME BURGLARY

A TV, notebook computer and video gaming system were stolen from a residence in the 100 block of West Ocean Avenue.

DELRAY BEACH POLICE

THEFT

A woman’s wallet was stolen from her shopping cart at a store in the 16200 block of South Military Trail.

A man walked out of a store in the 3200 block of South Federal Highway with three packages of disposable baby diapers.

A man in the first block of Northwest 14th Avenue complained to police that someone stole his mattress from his residence.

A man in the 4200 block of Brandon Drive reported that two of his firearms were missing.

Two iPhones were stolen from a business in the 1800 block of South Federal Highway.

DRUGS

A 32-year-old man was found in possession of heroin, cocaine and a syringe in the 600 block of Lake Ida Road.

A 44-year-old man arrested on a charge of strong-arm robbery in the first block of Northeast First Street was found in possession of heroin.

STRONG-ARM ROBBERY

A pizza delivery man was robbed in the 500 block of Dolphin Drive.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

Someone keyed a vehicle parked in the 2500 block of Seacrest Boulevard.

Tires were slashed on a vehicle in the 2200 block of South Federal Highway.

Both headlights were broken on a vehicle in the 100 block of East Atlantic Avenue.

Someone threw rocks at a vehicle in the 2100 block of Southwest 11th Court.
