After more than a decade on lam in Israel, Boca man convicted of 1998 DUI manslaughter brought back to U.S.

Nearly two years ago, the man living as Jason Adam Weisman heard a knock on his door just outside Tel Aviv.

By then, Lawrence Seth Wayne had spent a decade in Israel under assumed names like Weisman, trying to leave behind him the memory of the 44-year-old man he’d killed in a Delray Beach crash and the 19-year prison sentence for DUI manslaughter still hanging over his head when he hopped on a plane and left a note behind vowing never to come back.
