A group of Century Village residents have sued Palm Beach County and a development company to block the construction of homes and shops on a former golf course next the retirement village.
Residents of the Southhampton C Condominium Association filed the suit last week, alleging that Palm Beach County broke its own rules when it approved the development plan. The group argues that a deed restriction placed on the golf course requires that the land remain green in perpetuity.
