Michael Jordan, the former Chicago Bulls star and sometimes Jupiter resident, filed for a marriage license Thursday morning at the Palm Beach County Courthouse, a spokeswoman for the Clerk & Comptroller’s Office confirmed.
Jordan, 50, and his fiancée, who is reported to be 34-year-old Cuban-American model Yvette Prieto, came into the downtown courthouse around 8:30 a.m. The New York Daily News reported the two got engaged in December 2011. Published reports have said they expect to marry in April.
