NEW: Bicyclist hit in Riviera Beach taken to hospital


A man on a bicycle was hit by a car in Riviera Beach Wednesday evening, according to city police.

Police responded to the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Australian Avenue where a bicyclist was hit by a vehicle. The unidentified man was taken to a hospital as a trauma alert. The man’s condition is unknown.

Police did not say if anyone else was injured.

At this time, police do not know who was at fault.
