A West Palm Beach man sustained life-threatening injuries Sunday after his vehicle was T-boned during a crash on South Haverhill Road, according to a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office report.
Carlos E. Calix Rosale, 39, was taken to Delray Medical Center following the crash, which took place about 5:30 a.m.
Calix Rosale was traveling northbound on Haverhill Road in a 1997 Toyota Corolla when he was struck on the passenger side by a 2005 Toyota Scion that was entering the intersection at Abbey Road East, the report said.
The report does not indicate if the Toyota Scion’s driver, Jorge V. Naranjo Zarat, was injured.
Naranjo Zarat, 21, never used the brakes on the Toyota Scion, according to the report.
