UPDATE: Police find girl, 13, missing from Riviera area

7 a.m. UPDATE: A 13-year-old teen who went missing Monday afternoon was found safe and returned to her family, a Riviera Beach Police Department spokeswoman said.

Palm Beach Gardens police helped Riviera Beach find Jasmine Warren, authorities said. It is unknown when or where Warren was found.

Original post: A 13-year-old girl with a medical condition is missing from her Riviera Beach home, according to city police.

Jasmine Warren left her home at 1 p.m. Monday to go for a walk. An hour later, she text messaged her mother to let her know she had fallen behind a Wal-Mart in Lake Park, just south of Northlake Boulevard along Congress Avenue, and was hurt. When the mother went to find her, the teen was nowhere to be found. Officers searched the area, but could not find Warren.

The teen’s mother told police her daughter has an undisclosed medical condition that requires medication every day.

Anyone with information about the teen’s whereabouts is asked to call Riviera Beach Police at 561-845-4123 or Crime Stoppers of Palm Beach County at 800-458-TIPS (8477.)
