Report: Trump golfs with Jack Nicklaus at West Palm Beach course

President Donald Trump reportedly hit the links with another golf great Saturday after playing a round with Tiger Woods, PGA champion Dustin Johnson and PGA pro Brad Faxon on Friday at Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter.

The Associated Press reports Trump was seen playing golf Saturday with North Palm Beach resident and golf legend Jack Nicklaus at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach. Nicklaus’ son, Gary, joined them, the AP reported.

The president spent about six hours Saturday at Trump International starting around 8 a.m., according to earlier reports. It was Trump's fourth day in a row visiting one of his golf courses during his Thanksgiving visit to Mar-a-Lago.

Nicklaus endorsed Trump for president, telling “CBS Sunday Morning” in May 2016 that he likes “what Donald has done … he’s turning America upside down. He’s awakening the country.”

Nicklaus designed Trump National Jupiter’s 18-hole course, which stretches for 7,531 yards and is Audubon-certified as an “environmentally friendly habitat,” according to the club’s website. Nicklaus also designed Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point in New York.

The pair have golfed together in the past. And in 2015, Trump attended the ceremony at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., when Nicklaus was presented a Congressional Gold Medal. Trump and Nicklaus also own neighboring properties: Nicklaus’ Bear’s Club sits next to Trump National in Jupiter.

Trump has three golf courses in South Florida: In addition to his clubs in Jupiter and West Palm Beach, he also has Trump National Doral Golf Club near Miami.
