NEW: Red Cross helps first responders battling fire in Riviera Beach


A team of local Red Cross volunteers are on the scene of a tire warehouse fire on W. 15th Street providing water and food to 75 fire fighters and first responders battling the flames.

The volunteers were dispatched to help by the fire department.

Red Cross members on the scene belong to the Chapter’s Disaster Action team, a group of specially trained volunteers who respond to the scene of a local disaster.
