All signs point to President Donald Trump returning to Palm Beach for Christmas — but it appears his stay might not begin until Dec. 22.
After issuing an alert Thursday to pilots of “VIP Movement” in Palm Beach starting Dec. 20, the Federal Aviation Administration today sent a new alert for Dec. 22 through Jan. 1. No times have been provided yet.
Although the White House is mum on President Trump’s plans, the FAA alerts indicate he’s coming to town sometime next week.
At least one member of the Trump family will be in Palm Beach County earlier in the week before Christmas.
Donald Trump Jr. is scheduled to speak during the opening night of the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit at the county Convention Center in West Palm Beach.
Turning Point is a non-profit with a mission to promote limited government and free markets by building “the most organized, active, and powerful conservative grassroots activist network on college campuses across the country.” About 3,000 students are expected at the four-day event.
Trump Jr. is scheduled to appear with Turning Point founder Charlie Kirk for opening remarks at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. Also scheduled to speak is Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
It would mark Trump’s 10th presidential visit to Palm Beach and second Christmas holiday at Mar-a-Lago since his election in November 2016.
