Jazz, snakes and original Nintendo gaming this weekend in Gardens


MEET THE SNAKE

John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, 10900 Jack Nicklaus Drive, will host a Snake Talk with King Henry, the resident snake, 2 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Visitors will learn about the habits and habitats of King Henry and other snakes during the presentation, free with park admission, $5 per vehicle.

JAZZ SUNDAYS

Relax to the sounds of live jazz 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday in the Centre Court of Downtown at the Gardens, 11701 Lake Victoria Gardens Ave. The Rich Switzer Trio brings the tunes every first Sunday of the month.

OLD SCHOOL GAMING

Gamers will geek out when The Brewhouse Gallery, 720 Park Ave. in Lake Park, hosts an Original Console Night 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday. They have original Nintendo games, N64, a Super Smash Brothers tournament and the normal stand-up arcade games, all on “the cave side.” Happy hour is all night, and every new high score or tournament winner gets a mystery beer.
