Things to do in Boynton Beach this weekend include:

1- Boating education

The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 54 of Boynton Beach will host a two-hour class Saturday about the basics of knot-tying. The class is at Harvey E. Oyer Jr. Park, 2010 N. Federal Highway. The cost is $25, which includes an instruction book and ropes to practice tying knots. The class starts at 9 a.m. For information, call (561) 704-7440.

2- Go Red

Gixo and Go Red are hosting a charity walk/run on Saturday to battle women’s heart disease. Gixo will donate $10 per mile for each participant to the American Heart Association. Attendees will wear red. Runners and walkers should meet in front of the Starbucks, 1500 Gateway Blvd., at 9:30 a.m. The walk/run is from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

3- Read with your children

The Boynton Beach Barnes & Noble is hosting a Storytime on Saturday at 11 a.m. The story to be read “Click, Clack, Moo I Love You!,” written by Doreen Cronin. The store is at 333 N. Congress Ave. For information, call (561) 374-5570.
