‘In the Heights’ coming to Boca Raton High School stage

The Drama Department will present “In the Heights” at 7 p.m. Feb. 23-25, with matinee performances at 2 p.m. Feb. 25 and 3 p.m. Feb. 26. The award-winning musical explores three days in the lives of those living in the Hispanic community of Manhattan’s Washington Heights. Tickets are $10 if purchased by Feb. 23, $15 after. The George Snow Scholarship Fund will sponsor its 24th Cowboy Ball, 6-11 p.m. Feb. 25 at at the Mizner Park Amphitheater in Boca Raton. The evening includes food from several restaurants, whiskey tasting, square dancing, line dancing, an auction and mechanical bull rides. Tickets are $175 per person. A charity raffle offers a grand prize of $5,000, and tickets are available for purchase by guests as well as those not attending the festivities.
