SouthTech Preparatory Academy hosts open house event


SOUTHTECH PREPARATORY ACADEMY

An open house begins at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday on the campus at 1325 Gateway Blvd., Boynton Beach. School staff will be on hand to provide information on academic and student support services, clubs and organizations. Admissions assistance will be available. The tuition-free charter school serves students in grades six through eight. The school educates students in the STEAM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) and through career academies.

The Palm Beach County Council of PTAs will host Family Fun Night at Florida Atlantic University Stadium in Boca Raton on Saturday. The festivities begin at 6 p.m., with the kickoff for the FAU football game against Bethune-Cookman University at 8. End zone tickets and parking passes are $5 each.
