Happy 4th (and 25th!)
West Palm Beach will be celebrating two ways on the Fourth of July — both the nation’s independence and the 25th anniversary of 4th on Flagler. ‘By George, We’re Celebrating a QUARTER Century,’ as the event is being called, will highlight big moments from the past quarter-century of 4th on Flaglers. The city is also promising one of “the largest fireworks displays in South Florida” and music from Hot Chelle Rae. Also new is a ticketed “Club 4th” party at the Lake Pavilion and the display and unfurling of a 5-story American flag on the Esplanade Grande building, according to city promoters. There will also be military salutes, kids activities and more. Information: www.wpb.org/events.
