Their home: A six-bedroom, five-bath, 3,900-square-foot, two-story estate home. It was built in 2007 and includes a three-car garage
When they moved in: 2007
Why they love it:
Marc Krawatsky’s job as a computer programmer brought him regularly to the Boynton Beach area.
Eventually, the job led him and his family here —permanently.
He and his wife, Hillary, a local dentist, enjoyed their visits, and they saw a future here.
“This area just seemed like it would be a nice place to raise a family,” Hillary says. “And it seemed like the housing would be affordable.”
The couple looked at about a dozen homes, including some in Boca Raton, but thought their investment in a home was better made in Boynton.
“Boynton Beach is much more affordable — the housing here was newer, newer construction,” she says. “We got more house for our dollar.”
The close proximity to two synagogues was also highly appealing to the Orthodox Jewish couple, as was the kosher kitchen, which came as an option when the homes were built.
Hillary has served as the homeowner board’s president.
Marc is an avid sailor and fisherman, and he brought his interests to the neighborhood, creating the Wyndsong Isle Safe Fishing Club, in which children fish in a community lake nearly every day.
“What’s nice about our community,” Marc says, “are the children.”
