When it comes down to it, Melissa and Ralph Franzese chose to live in Eastwood first and foremost because of its school zone — the schools are all high quality.
Pretty important for a couple with a 4-year-old and another on the way.
They moved from Long Island as part of a work relocation for Melissa, who works at Chase bank, and were living in a Boynton Beach apartment for a while. Then they heard of Wellington and the schools. They decided to look into it further.
But where in Wellington? They looked at 30 houses.
Eventually, they found Eastwood, and they liked the size of the lots. The home they saw had the things they wanted — three bedrooms, a pool, and a decent price tag.
“It had exactly what we were looking for right in the price range,” Melissa said. “At that point we had looked at so, so many, we said, ‘We’re ready. Please let this be the one.’”
The people have been great so far, she said.
“When we first moved in we met (our) neighbors,” she said. “The people … have been very welcoming.”
