The plan was that at 7 p.m. on Saturday night, supporters of the fight against hepatitis C were to gather at Bicentennial Park and join countless others around the globe in covering their ears, eyes and mouths — the hear-no-evil, see-no-evil, say-no-evil call to action of their battle.
Although they didn’t draw enough supporters to cover even one set of ears, eyes or mouths, the handful of volunteers vowed to continue the fight.
