In a push to save more lives, faster, from the scourge of cancer, the American Cancer Society says it’s shedding several programs aimed at cancer’s youngest victims, including summer camps and college scholarships.
People within the cancer charity behemoth say the conversation to drop these programs is a national one that extends back about a year.
