Alzheimer’s brainstorming session
Tuesday: From 2 to 4 p.m. at the Alzheimer’s Association headquarters (3333 Forest Hill Blvd., West Palm Beach), the Southeast Florida Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association is host a brainstorming session designed to get the public’s input and feedback on what the Association can do to better serve the public’s needs. Free HIV testing
Thursday: In recognition of National HIV Testing Day and thanks to the joint efforts of the Florida Department of Health Palm Beach County and several community-based organizations, health care providers and private citizens and businesses, there will be free HIV testing throughout the county at numerous locations. Post-traumatic stress seminar
Friday: From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness (1649 Forum Place, Ste. 10, West Palm Beach), the Renew Center of South Florida will present a free seminar called “Stronger than Fear” – an event designed to help individuals suffering from trauma caused by unexpected events, as well as those suffering from the trauma of abuse.
