Question: We bake bread for the service at our church, freezing and thendefrosting them before the service. Occasionally it appears as if some of the loaves had not been done in the center. My question is, would it be possible to microwave them so that they get reheated and center gets done a little more? – Geena, West Palm Beach
Answer: Freshly made bread, right out of the oven, is a delight in itself. But luckily, bread freezes reasonably well, and that can be a lifesaver when you have to bake several and also have a time constraint. But unfortunately, the microwave oven – such a time-saver on most things – is quite incompatible with bread, even for reheating.
