JUST IN: Worker falls, impaled by piece of metal in Jupiter


A man was severely injured Thursday morning when he fell and became impaled with a piece of metal, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue reports.

The incident happened about 10:30 a.m. near a canal in the Heights of Jupiter, north of Donald Ross Road along Interstate 95. Firefighters cut the object and transported the man to a local trauma center.

No other details were immediatedly available.
