With band members based throughout Palm Beach County who have well-paid day jobs or are retired; are parents and grandparents; and combine traditional styles like blues, country and bluegrass into a new synthesis, Cori Spring and Lotsa Papa is the area’s back-to-the-future roots music sextet.
All of the 2-year-old band’s members had previous playing experience except lead vocalist Spring, the exception in several ways. A bartender and photographer, she’s the only woman in the band, the only member in their 30s, and the only one with young children (an 11-year-old son). And her exceptional voice yields no sign of inexperience.
