We all know girls just wanna have fun, and now they have the perfect wine to do it with. Napa-based Art+Farm Wine’s “the girls in the vineyard” series is fresh, fun and full of verve. The wines will be featured in Thursday’s kickoff party for Flavor Palm Beach at Palm Beach Motor Cars. Now in its sixth year, Flavor Palm Beach is a monthlong dining extravaganza featuring top chefs and hotspots from Boca to Jupiter. Participating restaurants offer a selection of specially-priced three-course meals for lunch and/or dinner throughout the month of September. The event gives area diners the opportunity to sample the best of Palm Beach County at a great value.
Ahead of the Flavor kick off, I sat down with some local ‘girls’ with a lot of wine know-how — Advanced Sommelier Mariya Kovacheva of Café Boulud and Amanda Ozer, Advanced Sommelier for The Virginia Philip Wine Shop & Academy and wine consultant for BulletProof Wine & Spirits, Inc. We met at Café Boulud for a pre-tasting of the Art+Farm portfolio and a candid conversation about women and wine.
