Dine like a movie star at Bogart’s Bar and Grille

MENU

You’ll find a variety of selections that range from salads and pizzas to large plates such as salmon, turkey meatloaf, tacos, and spaghetti and meatballs.

ATMOSPHERE

Bogart’s ambience strives to mirror Hollywood glamour. A large chandelier lit by faux candles is the centerpiece of the restaurant, while red booths are reminiscent of the red carpet.

FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE

I ordered the signature dish as my main course — the dijon-crusted chicken Milano ($20), which is big enough to split or take home for the next day. The chicken is pounded thin with a crispy breaded coating, and served on a bed of moon-shaped sweet potato ravioli and sauteed spinach. A golden maple-dijon mustard sauce fills the plate for dipping, and complements each portion of the dish. For dessert, we went with the chocolate layer cake ($8), which comes stacked with layers of moist fudge cake and chocolate frosting. Crushed chocolate chips line the outer layer, forging a seriously sweet indulgence.

REASON TO GO

The bistro is exclusive to Boca Raton and conveniently located inside of a movie theater, so you can catch dinner and entertainment all in one place. (Movie theater admission is not required to dine at Bogart’s.)

SERVICE

Although our waiter was friendly and helpful, he didn’t come around often when we were out of drinks. We did get immediate assistance from other wait staff when we needed it.

NOISE LEVEL

Since the restaurant stretches throughout the second level and is not enclosed by walls, noise travels across the space well. Music plays in the background, but doesn’t disrupt conversation.

KID FRIENDLY

While kids are welcome with menu offerings such as pizza, pasta and sliders, I would recommend it is best left to adults who are looking to spice up their date night.
