The day after Christmas, Jason Bonham discovered that he’d made Robert Plant a little verklempt. And that made him a little misty, too.
“It wasn’t until I watched it back on TV that I saw it,” says Bonham of the moment during December’s “Kennedy Center Honors,” in which one of its prestigious medals was awarded to Led Zeppelin. Jason filled in on drums for his late father John Bonham, behind Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart, in tribute to his dad’s old mates.
