Palm Beach Dramaworks completes its subscription season with Brian Friel’s “Dancing at Lughnasa,” a tribute to his mother and her four spinster sisters, the impoverished Mundys of the Irish village of Ballybeg.
The title refers to a pagan harvest festival that the repressed sisters yearn to attend and kick up their heels. And thanks to an intermittently functioning wireless radio, they do succumb to the music and find brief joy in folk dance.
