Boca Raton Symphonia: The orchestra, which just finished being the house band at the Festival of the Arts Boca, returns to its home base at the Roberts Theater in western Boca this weekend for a concert featuring flutist Jennifer Grim, a professor at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, in the Flute Concerto No. 1 (in G, K. 313) of Mozart. Also on the program, which will be led by Philippe Entremont, is Respighi’s The Birds, and the Carmen Suite of the contemporary Russian composer Rodion Shchedrin.
