UPDATE: Three people shot in Belle Glade expected to survive


8:50 p.m., UPDATE: All three individuals shot in Belle Glade had injuries that were not life threatening, the sheriff’s office said Monday night.

The sheriff’s office said that they believe they have everyone involved in the shooting but investigators are still investigating who the aggressor was.

Detectives do not believe the shooting near the health department in Belle Glade and the South Bay shooting are related.

7:15 p.m., UPDATE:

The sheriff’s office said the shooting happened outside of the health department Monday evening. One of those injured in the shooting ran inside the building, according to sheriff’s office spokeswoman Teri Barbera.

The conditions of those injured is still unknown at this time.

5:25 p.m., UPDATE: Three people were injured in a shooting near the Health Department in Belle Glade Monday afternoon, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

All three individuals were taken to a local hospital for treatment, but their conditions are unknown. There is no information about the shooter at this time.

Original Story: Palm Beach County Fire Rescue crews are responding to a shooting near the Department of Health in Belle Glade.

Crews were called to the 38000 block of State Road 80 along South Main Street and north of Doctor M.L.K Jr. Boulevard. At this time it’s unclear how many people may have been injured and if anyone is in custody.
