Palm Beach Gardens police confirm they have the car theft suspect in custody.

A man dressed in a gray hoodie and plaid pajama bottoms ditched the reportedly stolen car near Donald Ross Road and North Military Trail, police said.

Dwyer was placed on lockdown as a precaution, according to police.

Principal Joe Depasquale called parents about the lockdown, urging those not already at the school to avoid campus, school officials said.
