THEFT

A 67-year-old woman was caught shoplifting $900 worth of clothing from a store in the 5800 block of West Glades Road. She was arrested and taken to the county jail.

A bicycle was stolen from an enclosed patio at a home in the 1200 block of South Federal Highway.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

Police arrested a 54-year-old man after he used his elbow to smash a window of a vehicle in the 200 block of Northeast 20th Street.

Wanted fugitives in Palm Beach County 

Someone broke a window on a boat docked in the 800 block of Northeast 70th Street.

DRUGS

A 31-year-old man was arrested in the 300 block of West Camino Real after he was found in possession of a controlled substance.

A man was arrested in the 2900 block of St. Andrews Boulevard after he was found in possession of pot and drug paraphernalia. He was released with a notice to appear in court.

VEHICLE BURGLARY

A purse was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 1800 block of Clint Moore Road.

A window was smashed on a vehicle in the 4900 block of Technology Way and a purse was snatched from within.

BOYNTON BEACH POLICE

HOME BURGLARY

An envelope containing $400 and jewelry worth $2,000 were reported missing from a home on Swallow Drive. Fresh pry marks were found on the sliding glass door.

As a woman watched on her cellphone, a burglar entered her residence in the first block of Heather Cove Drive. She notified police, but the intruder fled before officers arrived. They later nabbed the man, who was found in possession of burglary tools.

THEFT

Three juveniles were apprehended by police after they stole a bicycle in the 1000 blocks of West Gateway Boulevard. The victim declined to prosecute, saying he only wanted his bike back. The three bike thieves were released to their parents.

VEHICLE BURGLARY

Someone entered an unlocked car parked in the 2400 block of Quantum Boulevard and took $150 from the center console.

A 9mm firearm and a wallet containing $100 and credit cards were stolen from an unlocked pickup in the 1200 block of Gondola Lane.

A laptop computer was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 3600 block of High Ridge Way.

Credit cards were removed from the center console of an unlocked vehicle in the 2200 block of Northwest First Street.

Suede boots valued at $150 were taken from a car parked in the 13100 block of Mahogany Bay Drive. A window was smashed by the thief.

A window was smashed on a car in the first block of Flamingo Drive. A gold necklace and some loose change were taken.

A laptop computer was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 800 block of West Boynton Beach Boulevard. In the same area, a purse containing $50 and credit cards was taken from an unlocked vehicle. The thief also stole $100 stashed in the sunglasses holder.

ARMED ROBBERY

As a man left his residence in the 100 block of Arthur Court, he was approached by three young males who asked him for a cigarette. The man told them he didn’t smoke, whereupon one of the males pulled out a handgun and demanded money. The victim handed them $300, and the trio fled.

STRONG-ARM ROBBERY

A woman told police she was hanging out by the trash receptacle behind a business in the 300 block of North Federal Highway when a man approached her, snatched her Coach purse from her shoulder and fled. She decided not to pursue the matter.

DELRAY BEACH POLICE

DRUGS

Police arrested a 26-year-0ld man found in possession of cocaine in the 1000 block of Brooks Lane.

A 48-year-old man was arrested in the 200 block of Southwest 12th Avenue after he was found in possession of cocaine.

HOME BURGLARY

Beer and a bicycle were stolen from the garage of a home in the 1100 block of Thomas Street.

THEFT

A man walked into a store in the 700 block of George Bush Boulevard, grabbed a March of Dimes donation box and fled.

A window was smashed and tires stolen from a vehicle in the 900 block of McCleary Street.

A woman’s purse was stolen in the 200 block of East Atlantic Avenue.

FOUND PROPERTY

A passport was found in the 200 block of Northeast First Street.

A loaded magazine for a small-caliber gun was found in the 200 block of Northeast Second Avenue.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

Someone broke a window on a vehicle in the 16600 block of Southwest Eighth Avenue.

Two tires were slashed on a vehicle in the 1200 block of Northwest Third Street.

VEHICLE BURGLARY

A checkbook was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1000 block of Sea Sage Drive.
