The men, whom city police say knew each other, were talking outside a residence on the 2300 block of Avenue E, west of Broadway and south of Blue Heron Boulevard. The conversation escalated into a dispute and one man took out a gun and shot the other as the victim stood in the residence’s doorway.

The gunman then fled on foot. A family member took the victim to a hospital.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact city police at 561-845-4123 or Crime Stoppers of Palm Beach County at 800-458-TIPS.
