PBSO searching for woman who robbed Home Depot near West Palm Beach

A woman is accused of robbing a Home Depot near West Palm Beach on Wednesday afternoon, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.

Surveillance footage shows the woman walk into the Home Depot garden center on Okeechobee Boulevard at about 1:30 Wednesday afternoon. Deputies say she demanded a store clerk open the register and hand her cash. A man was outside the store with a weapon, watching the woman, according to the sheriff’s office.

After taking an undisclosed amount of money, the woman walked across the parking lot and into an older model Nissan or Toyota with a temporary Georgia license plate that was waiting for her and fled, the sheriff’s office said.

The woman has a visible mole on the center of her forehead. She was wearing a dark-colored BCBG brand hoodie and large sunglasses.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Palm Beach County at 800-458-TIPS (8477).
