NEW: West Palm man accused of pulling gun during argument with woman

A 19-year-old suburban West Palm Beach man with a prior felony conviction was arrested Thursday after he threatened a woman with a gun, according to officials.

According to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, Timothy Saintil was arguing with an 18-year-old woman Thursday morning outside her home on Harriet Place, in the Gramercy Park neighborhood off 45th Street and Haverhill Road. Saintil decided to go inside and get a gun, investigators said.

A witness told investigators Saintil came back out and told the woman he would shoot her if she did not leave. The witness fought to get the gun away from Saintil.

The woman and other witnesses were uncooperative and told deputies they did not want to get involved with the investigation, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies found a gun and took Saintil into custody. He faces charges of aggravated assault with a weapon and being a felon in possession of a firearm and was released from the Palm Beach County Jail late Friday after posting $60,000 bail.
