NEW: Teen accused of buying Versace goods with stolen credit card

A Boca Raton High School student with apparent luxury tastes stole a credit card on Valentine’s Day and bought $900 worth of items at Versace, city police said.

Boca Raton police responded to a car burglary at a home in the Broadstone North apartments on North Federal Highway, where the victim said a pair of sunglasses, $200 in cash and his credit card were stolen.

He also told officers that several charges were made to his card as diverse as a $946 online purchase from Versace, a $45 purchase at a Mobil gas station and a $53 purchase at a Valero gas station. All of the charges added up to $1,050, according to the police report.

Officers met with Biordi’s brother on March 3 who identified Biordi from the surveillance videos at the Mobile and Valero gas stations. Biordi was arrested at his home on Wednesday, where officers also charged him with possession of marijuana when they found the drug in his pocket.

Judge Caroline Shepherd sentenced Biordi on Thursday to be transferred to a treatment facility for 90 days.
