NEW: Florida man accused of biting puppy then biting his own brother


A Florida man is accused of biting a puppy and biting his own brother.

Zachary Kelly, of Brevard County, allegedly became angry at his girlfriend’s four-month-old puppy so he allegedly held the dog down and bit its ears, according to WOFL.

"I'm obviously not happy about it," Jessica Wenner, Kelly’s girlfriend and the puppy’s owner, told WOFL. But she wasn’t the only person to take offense to Kelly’s actions. Authorities say that the incident led to a fight between Kelly and his brother, during which Kelly allegedly bit his brother on the chest, WOFL reports.

Kelly was arrested and charged with animal cruelty and battery and order to stay away from both the dog and his brother.
