NEW: Convicted man faces new charge that he sexually assaulted child

A man already serving a 15-year prison sentence for sexually battering a young child is facing new charges in Palm Beach County for allegedly assaulting the same victim, according to an arrest report.

Nathan Rusty Hollington, 38, is facing charges of sexual assault and lewd and lascivious behavior against a victim 12 years old or younger. Hollington was convicted of two counts of sexual battery on a minor in Lake County on March 22 and is scheduled to remain in prison through March 2028.

Hollington, from Groveland, is now facing charges for allegedly molesting the child in Palm Beach County.

According to the report, the sexual assaults on the child began when the child was 5 and in the bath.

In May 2013, Hollington allegedly admitted to authorities that he sexually abused the child when the child was 7.

The report does not indicate the relationship between Hollington and the child.

Hollington maintained several residences in Palm Beach County from 2004 to 2009, the report said. The exact locations of his homes is redacted in the report, but a records check shows that Hollington lived in Jupiter and West Palm Beach.

The age of consent in Florida is 18 years old, according to Florida Statutes. People between the ages of 16 and 17 can give consent to a partner to the age of 23. Anyone 24 years old or older commits a felony if he or she engages in sexual activity with someone under the age of 18.
