Martin sheriff: One dead in motorcycle wreck on Kanner Highway


One person died Wednesday afternoon when a motorcycle crashed into a vehicle on Kanner Highway, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office said.

The crash happened just before 2 p.m. at South River Drive, between Indian Street and Pomeroy Street, the sheriff’s office said on its Twitter page.

Kanner Highway was closed in the area of the wreck.
