Man gets impatient with police investigation, calls 911 multiple times


BOCA RATON POLICE

VEHICLE THEFT

Someone stole a Mercedes-Benz from the driveway of a home in the 200 block of West Key Palm Road. The key fob was inside the locked vehicle.

A golf cart was stolen in the 3000 block of Northwest Second Avenue.

BATTERY

A 29-year-old woman was arrested in the 600 block of Northwest 13th Street after she slapped a cellphone out of another person’s hands. She was taken to the county jail.

DRUGS

Following a traffic stop, a woman was arrested after she was found to be driving with a suspended license. She was also found in possession of marijuana. She was released with a notice to appear in court.

Police arrested a 40-year-old man who was found in possession of cocaine after a crash in the 100 block of Southeast Mizner Boulevard.

LOITERING AND PROWLING

Two teens were arrested and charged with loitering and prowling and resisting arrested following an incident in the 700 block of St. Albans Drive. One teen was arrested on a burglary charge in the same incident.

STRONG-ARM ROBBERY

A gold necklace was yanked off a person’s neck in the 200 block of Northeast 20th Street.

BURGLARY

Lawn equipment was taken from an unlocked shed in the 200 block of Southwest Second Street.

THEFT

Two packages were stolen from the porch of a home in the 400 block of Northwest Sixth Avenue.

BOYNTON BEACH POLICE

VEHICLE BURGLARY

Hand tools were stolen from a work van parked in a lot at a business in the 1500 block of Southwest Eighth Street.

A wallet containing several credit cards was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 500 block of Northwest 10th Avenue.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

Someone broke two windows on a residence in the 300 block of West Ocean Avenue.

SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT

A man in the 2700 block of Northwest Second Street found a bullet projectile lodged in the front wall of his home. He told police he heard a noise during the night, but did not see anything.

SHOTS FIRED

Reports of gunfire came from the 100 block of Southeast Second Avenue and the first block of Glamis Way. No evidence was found at either scene.

HOME BURGLARY

A bicycle and an air compressor were stolen from the garage of a home in the 400 block of Northwest Seventh Street.

DRUGS

A man and a woman were observed asleep inside a vehicle parked in a lot at a business in the 500 block of Southeast 18th Avenue. The doors to the vehicle were open. Police spoke to the pair, who said they were tired from using drugs. They were taken to an area hospital for evaluation.

STRONG-ARM ROBBERY

Two men purchased scratch-off lottery tickets at a store in the 1600 block of Federal Highway. Both left the store at the same time. When one of the men realized his ticket was a winner, the other man snatched the ticket and ran off.

A man walking to his residence in the 1100 block of North Federal Highway was attacked from behind and struck on the face. When he fell to the ground, his assailant reached into his pockets, grabbed $6 and fled.

MISUSE OF 911

A man involved in a dispute with his landlord in the 2600 block of Northeast Third Court became impatient with officers at the scene and began calling 911. A supervisor warned the man not to call 911 while officers were present, so the man walked away, went into his house and called the emergency number again. Police asked the man to come out of his house. When he did, they arrested him and took him to the county jail.

DELRAY BEACH POLICE

RECKLESS DRIVING

A motorist observed driving recklessly in traffic in the 1400 block of North Federal Highway was stopped, found to have no driver’s license and arrested. Police determined the vehicle was stolen.

THEFT

A rifle optic was stolen from a business in the 400 block of South Congress Avenue.

An employee caught stealing cash was arrested at a store in the 400 block of East Atlantic Avenue.

A “no trespassing” sign was stolen from a property in the 1000 block of Rhodes Villa Avenue, and a fence was damaged. Surveillance video captured the incident. One suspect was arrested at the scene, and charges will be filed on a second one.

Someone stole a wallet while its owner was playing basketball in the 1100 block of Northwest Second Street.

FOUND PROPERTY

Someone turned in a drone that fell out of the sky in the 100 block of Southwest 13th Avenue.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT

During a road rage incident in the 300 block of Northeast First Street, a motorist pulled a gun on a man before driving off.

HOME BURGLARY

Two bikes were stolen from the open garage of a home in the 4400 block of Sherwood Forest Drive.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

Someone dented the hood of a vehicle in the 100 block of Northwest Fifth Avenue.

BATTERY

A person was pepper-sprayed near the first block of Southwest 10th Avenue.
