JUST IN: Woman says shoplifting bust came in sixth theft from store

A woman caught walking out of Kohl’s with more than $400 in unpaid merchandise told investigators it was the sixth time she had stolen from the store in three months, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office said late Monday.

Nicole Wounded Arrow, 32, of Fort Pierce brought her own tools to remove anti-shoplifting devices at the Jensen Beach store, the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post.

Wounded Arrow said she took the watches, jewelry and clothing for holiday presents after losing her job.

She is facing charges of grand theft and use or possession of an anti-shoplifting device, police say. She is being held at the Martin County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
