Breaking: Sinkhole opens outside Trump’s Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach

JUST IN: 2 men wanted for distraction burglary near West Palm

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to be on the lookout for two men who burglarized a 96-year-old’s home near West Palm Beach after tricking him into thinking they were maintenance workers.

On March 7, two men knocked on the door of a residence on the 2500 block of Barkley Drive East, just north of Cresthaven and west of Haverhill Road. When 96-year-old opened the door, the pair explained they were sent by the residential association to clean the roof and check for leaks.

As the two made their way into the home, they went through drawers, cabinets and left the residence with a jewelry box. Investigators say the men left in a white pickup truck.

Anyone with information is asked to call Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS (8477.)
