The child’s mother, Ashley Baskett, of Brevard County, allegedly left the child in the drug house for three days without being changed or fed. As Baskett was being arrested for child neglect, she was also found with methamphetamine, according to police.

The baby, who was given diapers and a bottle by a Brevard County deputy, is now under the care of the Department of Children and Families.
