A Florida man went batty during a road rage incident on Sunday.
According to an Alachua County Sheriff’s Office report obtained by the Gainesville Sun, Robert Perry, 37, became angered when Jessica Harari, both of Gainesville, allegedly tailgated his vehicle.
When the two cars came to a stop at a red light, Perry parked his car at the intersection and got out of his vehicle. He retrieved a baseball bat out of his trunk and approached Harari’s driver’s side window, raising the bat above his shoulder.
Harari told Perry that she was pregnant and threatened to call law enforcement as he yelled at her to “learn how to drive,” according to the Gainesville Sun. Following the warning, Perry returned to his car and drove off.
He was later arrested at his home, charged with aggravated assault and held in the Alachua County Jail on $8,000 bond.
