Florida man bitten, stabbed in head by his knife-throwing live-in love

A Florida woman is accused of throwing a knife at her partner, and then some.

According to the Gainesville Sun, 27-year-old Shanavia Denise Teesha Tomlin, of Waldo, got into a physical altercation with her male partner on Sunday. During the altercation, Tomlin picked up a chair and threatened her partner, forcing him to run outside.

As the man ran away, Tomlin told Alachua County Sheriff’s deputies that she picked up a “shiny object,” which turned out to be a knife, and threw it at the victim, according to the Gainesville Sun. The knife hit the man in the back of the head, causing a laceration.

The victim also suffered an apparent bite on his chest, according to the Gainesville Sun.

Tomlin was arrested, taken to Alachua County Jail and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
