Bruno tried to strangle his on-and-off again girlfriend while they were staying at the Sea Dell Motel in Marathon, according to a  Monroe County Sheriff's Office arrest report obtained by WPLG

The girlfriend told deputies that Bruno messaged her about trying to work things and she agreed to meet him. During their rendezvous, the woman took a Facetime call from her family outside, according to WPLG.

Bruno is said to have shoved the woman into the toilet before throwing her on the bed and choking her. The woman told deputies that Bruno said, “I'm going to kill you and put you in a trash can,” according to WPLG.

Deputies said Bruno’s version of the story was “vague,” WPLG reported.
